Lots of work coming up. This week I have a spanish exam on Monday, an oral exam on Wednesday, two five page papers due friday, also I have a three hour fire course on thursday, and an eight hour course on Saturday. It sounds like a lot but i'm not too stressed. I have learned many good time management skills and that will help get me through.

I am happy that this all came after the four day break. Right now my mind is back into school mode. The week before break I was suffering from a case of extreme day dreaming and focus was difficult for me outside of class.

Speaking of fire though I got my gear this saturday! I'm wicked excited for the true fire training courses to begin. I've always loved fire so I think checking out the other side of the coin will be a great experience for me.

Hectic

This has been one hectic day. I started out at 10:00 am with my work study in the Chemistry department prepping labs and doing dishes. Once I got out of that I went to meet my culture partner from Costa Rica. We chatted for an hour over lunch and did some work. Afterwords I went to the library where I did two hours of studying. Once I finished that I left to go to a founders meeting to become a tour guide (which I am very excited for!). Then at 630 I had my first day of fire training. That went until 8:30. I headed back to Joyce where I have continued to study for two exams and I have done my laundry.


That was a mouth full. Anyways back to studying I suppose.

Anyways that was an SMC public service announcement posted from the library. The reason why I'm in here at 530 after class is because this is my favorite place to do work. All the chairs are comfortable and each area has a different level of volume. So if you want to talk you can sit in the middle of the library if u need complete silence we have little cubicle rooms in the basement. The rest of the library is middle level sound.

Fire

Looks like I may become a fireman. I'm pretty excited! I just went down to the fire house and asked if I was still eligable even though i am epileptic and it turns out I am :D. Anyways I don't have much else to say besides I traveled to the top of Smuggs and it is unbelievably beautiful. The mountain range travels for miles. This isnt the best image, I took it on my phone.

Tired

What is with this whole college thing that makes 10:00am feel like 6:00 am. I used to be able to wake up at 6 and be fine (maybe a little groggy) now though when i get up I'm exhausted. I need to start drinking coffee again I think.

Paper

Just thought I would say that I finished my first official college paper.

So yeah second semester has basically started.

New phone

Hello,

I got a new phone today... the droid eris. It's a great phoneel and I just found a Blogger application so u will see posts occasionally that will be from it. Please ignore my horrible grammer due to the lack of checking software.

So yeah home has been fun seeing old friends and all that good stuff but I'm ready to go back. I actually miss my dorm room! Only a few more days.
