So this is me I suppose

Lets see… So this is me, I’m a different kind of guy I like to think. I wouldn’t say I’m “weird”, “strange”, or “odd”. I just enjoy the simple things in life. My friends are the kind that can sit on a rooftop and just talk for hours because the night is beautiful and we have nothing to do.

So the big thing about me is that I’m really into photography. I got my first camera in fifth grade and have been addicted to it ever since. I love to do sports photography but really enjoy night stuff too.

Anyways I’m not currently in SMC but I will be there this fall as part of the 2013 class. When I’m there I plan on studying Chemistry but that could change. This blog right now will be dedicated to my final months home and my transition into college. I guess this is like an autobiography of my final hoorah here. Anyone who has lived in a small town will understand the bonfires and midnight walks that outline my summers.

So let me summarize. My name is Jake Botto, my camera is basically an extension of my being, and there is almost nothing I enjoy more (other than my skiing addiction) than a warm summer night and a roaring bonfire.
